Red Star Enlightens Chengdu: Shining For A Century

The year 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Despite the many hardships it has endured in the past hundred years, the CPC has relentlessly forged ahead, guiding the Chinese nation's march, step by step, down a bright path of great rejuvenation. The exhibition set up a total of four sections, displaying 272 pieces (sets) of cultural relics, archives, and physical materials. Specifically, the "Red Star in Chengdu" section vividly presents the revolutionary journey of the CPC in Chengdu; the "A New Look, A New Chengdu" section shows the construction and development of Chengdu in the early years of the People's Republic of China; the "Springtime of the Reform Era in Chengdu" section shows the achievements of Chengdu people in opening up and innovation since the introduction of the reform and opening up; and the "Striding into a Moderately Prosperous Society" section shows the innovation and progress of Chengdu in accelerating the construction of a park city demonstration area that practices the new development philosophy especially since the 18th CPC National Congress. Chengdu, a historical and cultural city, is once again at the peak of development.
